“No More Heroes” is an action-adventure game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and directed by Suda51, originally released for the Nintendo Wii in 2007. The game follows the story of Travis Touchdown, an otaku and aspiring assassin living in the fictional city of Santa Destroy, California. After winning a beam katana in an online auction, Travis decides to become the world’s top assassin by climbing the ranks of the United Assassins Association (UAA).
Gameplay in “No More Heroes” is a mix of hack-and-slash combat, exploration, and various mini-games.
